Meet Uncle Al
Owner Alan Anderson grew up in the Milwaukie area and worked at several auto repair shops in Milwaukie and Oregon City in the early 1990’s. His interest in anything with an engine only grew with each experience. In 1996, he ventured out on his own and founded Uncle Al’s Mobile Auto & Marine Service. It was such a success that he needed to expand after one year. That’s when he took over Beta Automotive in Gresham. By the end of 1998, he was looking to expand once again. In the spring of 1999, he purchased the building where Uncle Al’s Automotive now sits, near the heart of downtown Gladstone.
